Wedding Party

Pamela Hessler

Matron of Honor

Being my older sister, she has known me the longest. I used to get dragged to her cheerleading competitions but she had to come to all of my sporting events, so I guess we'll call it even, even though she killed my tamagotchi while I was playing in a soccer tournament, RIP. We've been driving our mother nuts together for years but we know she wouldn't have it any other way #BME. From the many loves of her life to the wall of hotties, Pamela has always been the Princess in our family. I can't imagine my wedding without her by my side. Fun Fact: Pamela got married 11/11/16 to Steve. They went to the same elementary, middle, high school and college, but didn’t officially meet until after school in Baltimore. #meetcute

Kevin Wheeler

Best Man

Kevin and I met at a sports summer camp in the summer after 5th grade. We then ended up in the same 6th grade class, and I can remember being happy just to see a friendly face. It's been an adventure ever since. When I later asked him what his first impression was when we first met, Kevin said "I remember thinking, 'that fat kid is pretty good at sports'". If that's not Best Man material, I don't know what is. Fun Fact: Kevin & I love going to see scary movies, and now we bring Tamara and Kevin's wife, Sarah, along for the spooky fun.

Sarah Jane Warner

Bridesmaid

We met at Susquehanna University and became BFF’s almost instantly. Go Crusaders! I mean, Riverhawks! (SU recently changed their mascot.) We were roommates in college for two years and made the most of our time in Selinsgrove. She is from Maine and lives in Texas now, but no matter how far apart we are, she will always be my BFF. We’ve been through a lot, but she can always make me laugh and I will never take our friendship for granted. Fun Fact: She loves cake and is probably more excited about the cake at our wedding than anyone else. #therewillbecake

Matt Beardsley

Groomsman

The middle brother. Deliverer of straight faced criticism and relentless honesty. He knows more about beer and brewing coffee than most people care to, and I love all those things about him. I credit him with my love for premier league soccer, my slightly above average coffee brewing ability, and a basketball move known as 'The Drop-Step'. If you have a little time, feel free to strike up a conversation about Philadelphia sports with him, but only if you Trust the Process. Fun Fact: Matt and I lived together when Tamara and I first started dating. Luckily, he and his wife, Sung, were quick to invite us to lots of brewery visits!

Lindsey Artz

Bridesmaid

Surprisingly, we met at a beer pong tournament in Harrisburg (#sarcasm) and bonded over the fact that we had the same phone with a purple case and, oh yea, we’re both pretty awesome at beer pong. We share a love for Philadelphia sports teams. We’ve traveled together: OCMD, the Finger Lakes, Chicago, FL and AC, played sports together and had a blast over the last 6 years we’ve known each other. She moved to Florida last year so we don't get to see each other as much as we used to, but it's always fun when we're back together. Fun Fact: Lindsey was there the night Chris and I met for the first time and at the Phillies tailgate, when we met….again. #trifecta

Pete Beardsley

Groomsman

The oldest brother and quick to remind you that he is. Tied with Matt for knowing me the longest, but to his credit, he probably remembers knowing me the longest. The proud father of my three nephews, I was recently speaking to my oldest nephew who asked me if I played lacrosse. I responded that I did in college, but his dad played too and was probably better than me. To that, my nephew responded "Yea, daddy played professional lacrosse". Didn't know that about him... Love you bro. Fun Fact: Pete and his wife Corey went to the same high school together, but didn't start dating until after college.

Jake Hopkins

Bridesman

I met Jake in high school, we never dated, but we did go to almost every school dance together, including prom, because we knew we would have fun together. We went on countless adventures in Jake's ever changing cars. We still go for FroYo at Bamboo almost every time I go back to the Harrisburg area, just to catch up. He is like a brother to me, always checking in to see how my life is going. He truly is irreplaceable and I can't wait for him to stand by my side on this special day. Fun Fact: Chris and Jake are the same height (6’4”) and both went to Millersville University. #2ofmyfaveguys

Courtland Winslow

Groomsman

Courtland and I first crossed paths when he lived down the hall from me in our freshman dorm at Millersville University. Fast forward to 2nd semester freshman year, and I had moved in to join him in the same dorm. We then spent the next 3 and 1/2 years living together at Millersville, where he kept me from making terrible decisions (or at least tried). We've made sure to stay connected since college, and I'm happy he's going to be up there with me when I'm making one of my best decisions this coming May. Fun Fact: The first wedding I ever brought Tamara to was Courtland's, when he married his wife Leighanne!

Zack Knoll

Bridesman

Zack and I go all the way back to elementary school. We played on the same basketball team and grew up just blocks away from each other. In high school, we would drive around listening to music and dancing in Zack's car. Zack even introduced me to Arby’s, which is now one of my favorite fast food places (behind McDonalds, of course). We both had a thing for collections growing up, Zack's was Britney Spears and mine was anything Tweety Bird. Zack is now a dad to one of the sweetest little boys I know, Mason. Fun Fact: Zack was my boyfriend in second grade and we got in trouble for holding hands in class. #rebels

Greg Miller

Groomsman

Greg and I met in elementary school, rode the bench on the middle school basketball team together, were captains on our high school basketball team, then lived together for years after college, where we continued to play basketball together. We still play basketball today. There is a lot more to our friendship than basketball, but in retrospect, it does seem to be a running theme. Ask him about the time we sang 'Bohemian Rhapsody' together in middle school. Did I mention we played basketball? Fun Fact: Greg was the person who invited me to the Bachelor Party where I originally met Tamara.

Amanda Krotzer

Bridesmaid

Amanda and I met in high school and I was honored to be a part of her wedding in May 2013. We've done a lot together over the years: from hanging out at her parents', the Lingenfelter's in high school, to senior week and many return trips to OCMD, girls nights to celebrate special occasions or just to catch up, and now being an 'aunt' to Declan. My first time in Atlantic City was for Amanda's bachelorette party, we stayed at the Revel and did a scavenger hunt, but I didn't find my future husband that weekend....that happened on my next visit to AC. Amanda and her husband, Kyle, also have two dogs: Luna and Bellatrix. Fun Fact: Amanda and her husband Kyle love the Renaissance Faire which is held in Lancaster County every year. #funinlancaster

Dan O'Brien

Groomsman

I don't know where to begin with OB. He loves hot dogs. I wasn't there, but the story goes that he ate something like 7 in one sitting when some guys dared him to. I was there when he got sick from drinking too much orange soda though, which he also loves, maybe as much as hot dogs. He even had an orange soda toast with his best man at his own wedding. Food aside, however, OB is one of my best friends and probably the nicest person I know. He and his wife are also responsible for one of my favorite moments in life, when I was the officiant in their wedding. To top it off, his daughter and I have the same birthday! Fun Fact: Dan allowed me to be the Officiant in his wedding to his wife Katie, which is the reason I'm a registered minister in Ohio!
