It all started at band camp back in early August of 2016, Suzanne was wandering around the band room trying to find someone who was also a freshman whom she can talk to, and alas! She found Chris, sitting on the floor with his white baseball cap, blue athletic tank, and with so much focus, was looking over their snare drum part for the marching band show. From then on, they were inseparable! They would spend everyday together, studying, talking, hanging out, more studying, laughing, and learning more about each other. Throughout their college years, they were just friends and were very happy to just be in each other's lives. Then, at Together Night at Faith Summerville in November of 2020, God had moved in that room and in their hearts. They sat in the car afterwards and professed their feelings for each other but wanted to wait until after they had graduated to start dating, and with that, they waited until May 21, 2021 when Suzanne surprised Chris with a romantic date in downtown Charleston and asked him out. From that day on, they continued to grow in their faith together as a couple ,and allowed for their love to bring joy and spark in each other's lives everyday!
