There are metered spots all around the edges of Myriad Gardens; however, these meters are only enforced until 6pm on Saturdays. Otherwise you might have to pay for parking. Downtown Oklahoma City, Inc. provides interactive maps to help guide you in selecting parking options. Copy and paste this link: http://downtownokc.com/maps Please note that if parking around Myriad Gardens fills up quickly, there may be a bit of a walk to get to the Crystal Bridge area where the ceremony is!
There are plenty of hotel options available, both right in the heart of downtown OKC (and close to Myriad Gardens) or, if you're looking to save some money, in the Midwest City area where we live (which is about 10-20 minutes from the Gardens, depending on traffic). We recommend www.TripAdvisor.com and www.Hotels.com to help find the hotel that works best for you!
YES. With beer and wine! There will also be LOTS of pictures and cell phone videos taken throughout the night – so indulge at your own risk ;)
Formal is highly recommended, but we'll be happy just to have you there! Summer months in Oklahoma can be pretty warm. Our wedding colors are black and purple, and we'll have a little bit of nerdiness woven into pretty much everything (though, coming in full cosplay might be a bit much....)
Of course! But please be mindful of our paid photographers. Nobody wants a cell phone accidentally covering the bride's face during the picture of the first kiss!
"I have 2 husbands, 3 sister wives, a gaggle of kids and this cousin I'm really close to who do everything with me, can I bring them?" The answer is yes, but within reason. We weren't able to invite everyone we wanted to because of the size limits of our venue, so keep in mind that your cousins may have to stand during the ceremony if you bring too many of them.
We've set up a Gmail account specifically for the wedding: ChrisWedSteph@gmail.com
