Lily Lake

Nymph Lake

One of the smaller lakes in RMNP. The surface is often covered with lily pads and their big yellow flowers during the summer months. From the Bear Lake Trailhead, there are two options to get to Nymph Lake along the Nymph Lake Trail. You can hike both of them as a loop, or just one leg as an out and back. Dream Lake

Continue on past Nymph Lake to the beautiful Dream Lake. Incredibly scenic with alpine lake water so clear that you can see trout swimming by! Emerald Lake

Starting from the Bear Lake Trailhead, hikers will pass Nymph Lake and Dream Lake on the way to Emerald Lake. Throughout your trip you’ll come across incredible views of Flattop Mountain, Hallett Peak, Glacier Gorge, and Tyndall Glacier. Lake Haiyaha

In 2022, Lake Haiyaha changed color to a milky turquoise due to landslides above the lake in Chaos Canyon. It is known to be one of the most stunning lakes in CO. Start at Bear Lake Trailhead and continue on past Dream Lake.
