Hmm where do I start? Well, fall of 2013, sophomore year, our journey began at a college "wear a jersey" party at Carnegie Mellon. Though I severely despised the fact that she was wearing a NY Jets jersey (as a die hard Dolphins fan), she somehow got me to talk, laugh, and dance with her, making me feel like the luckiest guy in the world that night. However, I thought she was out of my league. Why would this All-American soccer player that was a year older than me be with an average D3 college football player? Still have no clue! I must've done something right I guess? Little did I know that this girl would be the woman I would marry and the person that makes me smile and laugh every single day. Her dedication to the people she loves, her kindness towards all those around her, and her strength to overcome obstacles that seem impossible truly inspires me every day. I wouldn't be half the man I am without her by my side. Through undergrad, post bacs, and now medical school, we have traveled, laughed, cried, and danced to where we are today. Through the many highs and lows we have had along the way in life, what has prevailed is our love for each other and our dedication to bringing out the best in each other, both of which grow stronger each day. I cannot wait to marry the girl of my dreams and spend the rest of my life growing with her, becoming doctors, and enjoying every day, one step at a time, together. - Chris

Through all the change and uncertainty since meeting at Carnegie Mellon as Psychology and Civil Engineering majors, Chris has been my rock through it all. Ironically, we both found our own unique paths to medicine in the Philly/NJ area with some twists and turns. Chris is now a med student at Penn and I'm one year behind in my med school journey at Cooper in Camden, NJ. We live together near Rittenhouse Square as we continue through school! Chris brings so much energy, love, laughter, passion, and excitement to my life - he keeps me on my toes and is always full of surprises. He makes me feel so loved each and every day and words can't begin to describe how much I love and appreciate him. I will forever be his biggest fan and I could not have imagined a more amazing man to share the rest of my life with. -Savina
