We're getting married!

Chris and Rina met on their very first day of dental school at NYU. Although they weren’t particularly close during those early years, they shared mutual friends and crossed paths in class and clinic. Then, one unforgettable Saturday afternoon, fate intervened. Chris drunkenly ran into Rina on the streets of Manhattan and boldly asked her out. Rina politely declined, but still made sure he got home safely. In the days that followed, Chris didn’t give up. With some persistence (and sobriety), he finally convinced Rina to give him a chance. From that moment on, something real and unexpected began to grow between them. After graduation, their paths took them in different directions. Chris began his military service in Oklahoma, while Rina stayed in New York to complete her residency. Despite the distance, their relationship grew stronger; fueled by long texts, late-night calls, and plenty of delayed flights. Eventually, Chris was stationed in Upstate New York, and Rina made the leap to join him in the North Country. Together, they braved the snow, explored the local towns, and spent their weekends trying new recipes, staying active, and taking pottery classes. During a holiday visit with family, Chris proposed in Brooklyn, overlooking the east side of Manhattan, not far from where their story began five years earlier. It was the perfect, unforgettable moment. Now, they can’t wait to celebrate their next chapter with all of you, the friends and family who have supported and loved them along the way!
