Hiking
There is no better way to take in the beauty of the Wasatch Mountains than a hike. We have compiled a list of our favorite local trails at the link below.
Snowbird Oktoberfest
While the slopes will be closed in September, we recommend heading up Little Cottonwood Canyon to enjoy a day at Snowbird Oktoberfest. The views are absolutely incredible! You must take the tram up to the very top of the mountain and enjoy traditional Bavarian fare (brats and beers) at 11,000 ft. There is also a great spa at the Cliff Lodge. The Tram Club is our favorite spot on the mountain. Prost! Uber and Lyft do not service the canyon.
Eight Settlers Restaurant & Distillery
In the same parking lot as the Courtyard Marriott, this distillery & restaurant has great food and cocktails.
The Hog Wallow Pub
The Hog Wallow Pub is one of our top picks. They have great food, cocktails, and craft beer. Enjoy the shaded patio during the day or live music at night. If you are looking to keep the party going after the wedding, this is the place to be. 21+
Porcupine Pub & Grille
A great spot for dinner with Big Cottonwood Canyon views. Walking distance from the Courtyard Marriott.
Cotton Bottom Inn
Our favorite spot for burgers! 21+ for inside, but family-friendly in the outdoor areas.
Canyons Edge Sports Pub
If we weren’t getting married, we would head here to watch football and have a few drinks. Cheer on the LA Rams, Mizzou Tigers, New York Giants, and BC Eagles at Canyons Edge!
Park City
Park City is just a 40 minute drive from the venue and a great place to check out if you are looking to extend your trip. This stunning golf course is up in the mountains. Hit the links in the elevated terrain, and enjoy the views!

Another great public golf course that’s right by the Courtyard Marriott.
Mountain Dell Golf Course
Did you think we wouldn’t recommend 3 different golf courses? Mountain Dell is on the way to Park City and is one of our favorites in the area.

A great breakfast spot just 5 minutes from the Courtyard Marriott.
Hash Kitchen
Another one of our favorite breakfast spots! They have locations in Salt Lake City and Draper.

Coffee spot walking distance from the Courtyard Marriott.
