I first met Sophia & Alana in kindergarten. I remember fondly always behaving with them...our kindergarten teacher definitely didn’t throw a chair because we were misbehaving! We went through most of our schooling together and were an inseparable trio! After high school, life took us all 3 in different directions, but we always remained in touch. As we grew into adulthood, we re-connected and remain close to this day. It is so special to me, to have friendships that have spanned almost my whole life! Sophia lives in Monterey County with her husband, Ramon, and two young boys, Cruz and Antonio. And Alana lives in Michigan with her husband Jason and 2 daughters Julianne & Catherine.
Trudy McCrone

Trudy and I met at summer camp when we were pre-teens. Both of us had been attending camp since a very young age and proceeded to work there as staff members until we were about 20. Though Trudy and I went to different high schools, we remained the closest of friends - I’ll always remember she took me to my first party! Trudy is also the reason I ended up in Chico...after high school, I spent a year in SLO and then got a call from her that they needed a 4th roommate and she asked if I wanted to move up there and go to school...basically where my whole life formed, thanks Trudy! I lived with Trudy for a year and we went to many more parties together! Trudy currently lives in Monterey with her fiancé and works in real estate.
Shawnea, Lindsey & Brooke

Affectionately referring to ourselves as SLRB, I met these girls in Chico. Lindsey, Shawnea and I were roommates and Brooke bought us alcohol before we were 21, a sure fire way to become a bestie! JK, she was so much more than that! After college Brooke moved down to LA and Lindsey & I soon followed. I credit Brooke for the reason I ended up here. While in LA, these three besties rotated through our apartment in Brentwood for many years. Shawnea lives in Long Beach with her husband Johnathan and her son, Waylon. Lindsey couldn’t get enough of school and continued on to get her doctorate and now teaches at our Alma mater, Chico State. She lives part time in Chico and here with her boyfriend Greg. Brooke lives in PA with her boyfriend Jason and teaches our youth!

Bryan is my official bridesman! I met Bryan while living down here in LA. He and Brooke worked together and we all became fast friends. Over the years...and many, many nights of partying and crazy memories, I now call Bryan one of my best friends, he has a heart of gold and holds a special place in my heart! Bryan lives in LA with his boyfriend Jim and is living his best life as a successful real estate agent.

I met Ashley at my second ever job down here in LA, now commonly referred to as “Crazytown” our friendship was the best thing to come out of that crazy place! Ashley’s brother and parents both went to Chico State so when she saw my resume, she knew I’d be a good fit...I credit her for that job and the experience it gave me. Ashley is so loyal and loving and has helped me and been there through more things than I can count. Ashley is an amazing mama to her sweet baby boy Taylor Jeffrey. He and Adalyn will just be the best of friends!
Jen Darrington

I met Jen at my next (and current) job here in LA. Jen and I developed a friendship outside of work and quickly became more than just coworkers. Jen lives nearby and we do all the things together! She is my go to and is always ready for an adventure, a mani/pedi and most definitely a good happy hour! Jen lives in Redondo Beach with her daughter, Kalista and her husband Kevin.

Laura is my now sister in law and so obviously I met her when Chris and I started dating! Laura has welcomed me into this family with open arms and I’m so excited to soon call her family! Laura lives in Torrance with her husband (Chris’s brother) Cory and her two kiddos, Ellie and Declan.
