If you have time while visiting, here are some of our favorite local things to do:
Visit Lucketts, VA by driving up Route 15 North from Leesburg, VA. This is a scenic route with many wineries, breweries, and antique stores we often visit. We recommend visiting The Vineyards and Winery at Lost Creek, where we got engaged. We also enjoy Vanish Farmwoods Brewery.
If you venture West to Purcellville, VA you will find Catoctin Creek Distillery. The two restaurants we recommend here are Magnolias at the Mill and Monk's BBQ.
Downtown Leesburg, VA has Rebellion Bourbon Bar and also the Lightfoot restaurant.
If you have time for a scenic hike and the best Irish Restaurant in existence, we recommend a drive down Georgetown Pike into Great Falls, VA. The Old Brogue Irish Pub is in the heart of Great Falls. Continuing down Georgetown Pike is Great Falls National Park. There are spectacular view of the falls a short distance from the parking area, along with many miles of hiking.
