“We’re tying the knot!”

Chris and Megann had known eachother close to a decade before becoming a couple. They had met in 2012 through mutual friends and they always kinda stayed away from one another. Fast forward to 2018, fate brought them together as roommates in a strange turn of events. Quickly they got to see each-other for who they truly were and became pretty great friends, which followed with love. That friendship blossomed into the beautiful relationship that they have today! Chris proposed to Megann on a vacation in South Carolina in 2022. He planned a fantastic and scenic hike up a mountain on a 100 degree day. The air was thick with humidity, both of them hungover and a backpack equipped with: meat sticks, 1 Mountain Dew, one water and an engagement ring that Meg had no idea about. The goal was to reach the top of the mountain and that’s when the big question would be popped! Unfortunately, 85% up the mountain, Megann thought she was going to die and insisted on heading back down. Chris was able to push her a little further up the trail until the hangover let loose and so did the meat sticks! Poor Chris and his plan! They headed back down the mountain. Chris was able to find a spot he knew would work just as well, so he got down on one knee, on a little wooden bridge over a rocky river and asked Megann to be his forever and the rest is history! It’s definitely a proposal story that wasn’t picture perfect, but laughed about today and a memory that will not be forgotten.
