We're getting married

In the summer of 2019, Megan had just returned home after living in South Korea and Chris was at the beginning stages of his career in the medical field. Both longtime Ultimate frisbee players, Megan and Chris met through mutual friends when they joined the same University of Puget Sound alumni team for a local tournament over 4th of July weekend. That weekend, Chris asked for Megan’s number; not long after, they had their first date at Caffé Vita in Fremont. Since then, they’ve shared countless adventures: camping, backpacking, cycling, running, skiing, travelling, and, of course, playing frisbee. Together, they have vacationed in Whistler (more than once), soaked up the sun in Hawaii (twice, and also where Chris proposed to Megan in January 2023), and hiked in Yellowstone National Park. Most recently, they traveled to Japan to celebrate Chris’s graduation from PA school. Their bond is rooted in a shared love for the outdoors, animals, science, reading, and food. Megan loves to garden and cook, and Chris is a very happy taste-tester. Chris is now a practicing Physician Assistant at UW Montlake working in Neurocritical Care, while Megan continues to work at UW with hopes of returning to school soon to become a Registered Dietitian. For the past 6 years, they’ve made a cozy home in Wallingford with their cat, Adderley, and they hope to stay in the neighborhood for many more adventures to come.
