Where to begin with this one? Kenia and I met at her 10th birthday party, and at first she wasn't too fawned of me. But it didn't take long for us to become great friends. Now, going on over 15 years of friendship I am so blessed to call her my best-friend! I can always count on Kenia when I need a late night boba run, get down on the dance floor with. and have the best playlist to listen to on a Friday night. Kenia I cannot imagine my special day without you. Love you girl, always and forever boo.

Deborah is the biggest lover of all things 80's, chocolate-chip cookies, and good worship music. One cool thing about Deborah is that she, shares the role of being my aunt and honorary "big sister" in my life. While playing Barbies together, and fighting over cute clothes, Deb has been nothing but a constant light in my life. Thank you Nina for being an honorary "big sister" and for making me an "honorary aunt" to my favorite tiny humans.

I met Tabitha during our first year at Vanguard University, and we instantly bonded over the love of Hawaii. Tabitha's and I's relationship has blossomed over the years while being in community together, at our church. My favorite memories with Tabitha consist of us dancing fiercely on various occasions and hearing her tell me about her engagement with her now Hubby (Praise the Lord!) Thank you for being an authentic friend and a beautiful human I can always trust.

When my mom told me she was pregnant with my sister, I didn't want to believe it. But when I found out she was having a girl, I couldn't be more excited to finally have a SISTER! Niahmaya, you are a rare breed. You jam out to all the great classic rock bands better than anyone I know and you have an amazing ear for good music for a 9 year-old. The joy you bring to our unique family is mesmerizing, and I am so proud to call you my sister. Chris and I are so happy to have you part of our special day!

This is no one-man-show! This job is trusted by the finest men we know. Both just so happen to be under the age of 8 years old, and yup, you guessed it, BROTHERS! Ezra-James the oldest boy, is the smartest, and most kind-hearted dude you will ever meet. Daniel, the youngest of the Sanchez bunch is the sweetest almost two-year old out there and he has a appreciation for dry seaweed.

Azalie and I met during our freshmen orientation at Vanguard. And like most of my friendships with girls start off with, Azalie thought I was annoying (LOL, I still am). But after much persuading I convinced Azalie I was worthy of her time, and we instantly became close friends shortly after! I can always count on Azalie for the best snack recommendations, pep talks, and always singing gospel music while working on a project. I love you girl!

Leah is by far the coolest and most driven relative I have. (She paid me to say that... jk.) In all seriousness, Leah is someone I've identified as "big sister" figure in my life. At a young age Leah inspired me to be courageous with what life had to offer, and to embrace it. Some family members have even gone so far to say that we share a lot of similarities. To name a few, we both share a deep connection with the beautiful islands of Hawaii, and have spent time exploring the true essence of the spirit of Aloha. I Love you Tia Leah!

Matt is the big brother who was never too old to play with me. I couldn’t compete with him athletically, but that never stopped me from trying! Today we share a love for hiking and the outdoors. Matt is humble and has a great heart.

The only roommate I’ve ever had, and who could ask for a better one? We’ve taken road trips together, hosted small groups together, and experienced the ups and downs of life together. I have learned to listen closely when Steve shares his insight into who God is and what it means to follow Him. Steve is also a board-game savant.

Alex is the most curious person I know and is always eager to get your thoughts on whatever question is on his mind. He takes breaks from time to time to go exploring, and I’ve had a couple of opportunities to be one of his backpacking partners! Most importantly, Alex is kind, patient, and gentle.

Tim and I have set up at church together, played basketball together, and been to Hawaii together. He’s even helped me learn more about financial peace! I see the fruit of God’s Spirit in Tim’s peace and in his self-control. His jump shot is silky smooth, and his golf stroke is even smoother.

Cameron is one of the most fun and adventurous people I know — and no one is a bigger foodie. He has a special ability to bring people together and foster a sense of community. His joy and excitement are contagious. Love you, Cam!

Brent is the only friend who can eat as much as me, and we’ve had some amazing meals together! We both love hiking (or any other outdoor activity), so he’s helped me work off those meals too. One of Brent’s best qualities is his loyalty. If you invest in a friendship with him, he will multiply your investment many times over.
