Question

What's the menu?

Answer

We are having BBQ in the backyard for our wedding!! The menu is beef brisket, boneless chicken, and pulled pork, with a whole bunch of yummy sides. There will also be smoked tofu stir-fry. All served buffet style, no need to choose a meal. Chef Kelly and her smoker truck will be on site. Make your own sundaes are on the menu also!! Water and various sodas and juices will be available. Alcohol is BYOB, we will have ice.

What to wear?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be on grass, so be aware when planning footwear. Sunscreen might be a good idea, the forecast is in the 90's, and will be quite hot. We do have tents, and fans, and we have a lot of water.

What time do we arrive?

Answer

Guests can arrive as early as 12:15pm, for the 1 pm ceremony. Unfortunately we have to wind up the party at about 4pm, as we head on our honeymoon!

What about parking?

Answer

Parking. We are going to try to fit as many cars on the lawn as possible. If you park on the road, the local PD just asks that you keep all tires off the road.

One last thing...

If you have been to Hadley, then you know it is mostly farmland. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for it's agricultural community. We are surrounded by corn and tobacco fields. As a huge farming town, it sometimes smells - farm-ish. Ok, often it does. We love the earthy smells, but we wanted you all to be aware.
