We met move-in day at Boston University our freshmen year when we were placed on the same floor of our dorm. We quickly became close friends and would find ourselves spending most of our time together. After a few months of constant texting and conversations, we finally started dating November 27! Chris asked Lilia to take a walk through the Comm Ave Mall when the trees were lit up for the holidays, and asked her to be his girlfriend.

Chris surprised Lilia with dinner Friday night after yoga. He took her to the park and we sat on a bench and watched the sunset. After a while, Chris told Lilia that he had a present for her. He then grabbed the ring, came back, and put the box on the table. He asked her to stand up and proposed!

After graduating from BU in 2022, we moved to Ithaca, NY with our cat, Eloise. Chris is halfway through his Doctorate program at Cornell University studying Condensed Matter Physics. Lilia is working from home for a Digital Data Analytics software company as a Business Consultant. We’ve been having a great time exploring the Ithaca waterfalls and the greater New York area. We spend our weekends at the farmer's market, hiking through local trails, and spending time with Eloise. We’ve been so fortunate to have traveled all over these last few years. We’ve been to Cancun, Ocean City, MD, the Grand Canyon, NYC, and Disneyland, just to name a few..
