We both swiped right! :) We met on the dating app Hinge and decided to meet up at a bar in the East Village called Goodnight Sonny's. It was a very cold February night and Chris was just getting over the flu but after 6 hours of talking and a few cocktails later, we knew this could be something special.

One Saturday night we were set to head out to dinner with my best friend Jamie & her husband Rich at one of our favorite restaurants in Dobbs Ferry, Half Moon. In true Jamie fashion, she called to tell me she was going to really dress up for dinner as it was her first real mom's night out and she wanted to walk the water front first. I didn't think anything of this and of course had already gotten a blow out that day and laid out my Saturday night best (Chris did make me change my jacket though, that should have been my clue). As we approached the waterfront I thought it was a bit odd I didn't see Jamie & Rich's car yet and I kept calling her to ask where she was but there was no answer. Since it was such a nice night out, Chris suggested we just get out and start walking along the river and they would meet us eventually. We walked out onto the pier to get a better look at the sunset and before I knew it he was on one knee; I was speechless and I think we both blacked out. A photographer (shoutout Dave!) was waiting to capture the amazing moment and then we walked over to Half Moon where our family was waiting at the bar for us. We are truly so excited to celebrate our love with you!
