Question

Is there parking at the hotel?

Answer

Parking is available at the hotel for an additional fee; please contact the hotel if you are interested. There are several parking lots in the neighborhood. You can also park in a garage downtown and walk or rideshare back to Mt. Vernon. Street parking will be free and unlimited on Sunday; however, some spots will be metered and most parking will be limited to 2 hours on Saturday and Monday.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Limited parking is available at the venue; however, there are not dedicated spaces for our event. There is additional parking if you continue on Clipper Park Rd. (near the bend in the road). We recommend using taxis, rideshare apps, or the light rail (see Travel tab).

Is there a shuttle from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

No, there is no shuttle. The hotel is a 10-15 minute drive from the venue. We recommend taking a taxi, rideshare sevice, or the light rail. There is limited parking at the venue.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We recommend cocktail attire. Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. Our wedding colors are black and gold, but you do not need to dress to theme.

I have an allergy or dietary restriction. How can I notify you?

Answer

Please write us a note on your RSVP (there is a question about this). If you've already RSVPed but forgot to include your dietary restrictions, you can edit your response. Please do so before August 1, as we need time to work with our caterer.

Are you planning to add anything else to your registry?

Answer

No, we live in a small apartment and have all the 'stuff' we need. We kindly ask that you contribute to our honeymoon or first home funds if you would like to give us a gift.

Will Leslie be changing her name?

Answer

Nope! She will keep her name.

Where can I get breakfast/lunch in Mt. Vernon?

Answer

The neighborhood has a lot of options! Some of our favorites are Roggenart (European-style bakery with great coffee), Baby's on Fire (coffee & breakfast), Ceremony Coffee (artisanal coffee, tea, and pastries), Dooby's (Asian-inspired cafe), and, if you're up for a longer walk, Llama's Corner cafe (coffee, pastries, and sandwiches). There is also a cafe, Dashery, at the hotel. For breakfast on Sunday, we recommend the Baltimore Farmers' Market (see Things To Do tab).
