We met in 2009 during our freshman year at Redlands East Valley High School. Over the next few years, we stayed in touch occasionally as friends via Facebook Messenger. After a few years of sparse messages, Chris decided to take a more direct approach, starting on February 7th, 2015. This led to our first date at Chanida Thai Cuisine in Yucaipa, CA on April 2nd, 2015, which went so well that we drove to frozen yogurt afterwards. Over the course of the next month, we continued hanging out and getting to know each other, making our relationship official at Universal Studios on May 1st, 2015. Following our first vacation together at Lake Havasu in Arizona, we said "I love you" for the first time on July 27th, 2015. Over the next few years, our priorities were work, school, and spending time together. We spent countless hours going to fancy dinners, partying with friends, and hanging out at the Reineman Pool House. As Lauren finished her Bachelor's Degree, our welcome at the pool house was becoming over stayed, so we moved into our first apartment on July 18th, 2018, where we continue making memories together to this day. Our best memories in life so far have been spent together, watching one another grow and working together to become adults has been such an amazing journey. Following our Las Vegas engagement on April 24th, 2021 our next milestone is this wedding and we are so excited to celebrate with all of you.
