Please RSVP by November 1, 2024. Booking early is definitely a smart move, especially for popular destinations during holiday weekends. Formal invitations will be sent a few months before the wedding.
As we make final preparations for our wedding day, we wanted to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your presence and support. Due to constraints such as venue capacity or other logistical considerations, we regret to inform you that we are unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those specifically invited. While we would love to celebrate with all our friends and family, we must adhere to these limitations to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests. Please know that your presence at our wedding means a great deal to us, and we are truly grateful for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in our decision to host an adults-only reception. While we adore children, we've made this choice to ensure that all guests can fully enjoy the evening's festivities in a relaxed atmosphere. We sincerely hope this won't inconvenience you and that you'll still be able to join us in celebrating this special occasion.
Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, surrounded by the beauty of nature. We hope for clear skies and a perfect backdrop for our vows and initial celebrations. However, as we all know, weather can be unpredictable. For the reception, we have made arrangements for an indoor venue to ensure everyone's comfort regardless of weather conditions. While we're optimistic about enjoying the evening under the stars, we want to ensure that you are prepared for any changes that may arise.
We have not reserved blocks of rooms at any specific hotel on the property, allowing you the flexibility to choose the best option that suits your preferences and needs. You may select accommodations at either the Riu Palace or Riu Guanacaste, based on availability and your personal preferences. Both hotels offer exceptional amenities and services, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay during your time with us. We encourage you to explore the details of each property and make your reservation at your earliest convenience to secure your preferred room.
Given that our ceremony will take place outdoors and our reception will be indoors, we kindly suggest the following dress code: For men: We recommend wearing a suit in any color, a light dress shirt or button-down, paired with khaki or other lightweight slacks. Jackets and ties are optional, allowing for comfort in the outdoor setting. For women, we suggest wearing a cocktail dress, stylish pantsuit, sundress, or LBD that reflects the formal tone of the occasion. Please note that our venue does not permit attire such as blue jeans or athletic wear.
In the coastal regions, such as Guanacaste, temperatures range from 80°F to 95°F. While it's unlikely you'll experience heavy rains in Costa Rica in May, you can expect a good mix of sunny days, cloud cover, and light rain as the dry season shifts into the green season.
