ITS GOING DOWN

It is no secret that Chris and Lana first saw each other on tinder. We both were looking for a person to share music and outdoor activities together. Our first date was a concert to G-Jones. We instantly connected! Over the past year, we have explored, laughed, danced, and smiled more than any other time in our lives.

One thing you may not know, is Lana beat Chris to punch! It was his 45th Birthday and she wanted to give him a gift he would remember for the rest of his life. Chris and Lana play scrabble frequently and words with friends daily, so that is what prompted the idea. Lana created a special scrabble board with words glued to it that incorporated things that brought them together, including a special message that says marry me? The scrabble board was put in a frame, then wrapped up. Chris opened it after a Bassnectar concert on his Birthday, September 3, 2018. Lana was so nervous, because she knew it would catch him off guard. He was silent for a minute but filled with happiness. Then Chris joyfully said Yes! Little did Lana know that Chris already had a ring for her but he still kept it for a special day. While taking fall photos together at the door to nowhere in Louisville, all of a sudden he stopped in the middle of the session and reached into his pocket. Lana saw the box and was in pure shock. He got down one knee and presented a ring that belonged to his great grandmother. A few tears and kisses were shared. And it was all captured in photographs they will keep forever.
