We tied the knot while dipping our toes in the sand in Puerto Vallarta on May 2nd. We had a glorious time with all who joined us in Mexico. We can't wait to keep the celebration going with more friends & family so please Save the Date for June 28, 2025 and join us as we bring the tropics back to Alaska. If you are able to join, please RSVP for the Alaska Reception by June 1. This will be a block party style celebration. Attire: Wedding Casual, Dress for the weather :) Children are Welcome, please RSVP with total family amount so we can account for the kid population. Tentatively we are planning to have fun activities for the kids such as a bounce house, lawn games and possible "slip & slide" weather permitting. Will update as we get closer. For those traveling within Alaska or coming from town, we do plan on having a limited few Motorhome/RV spots available in one of the fields. If you are interested in this option, please notify Chris ASAP so we can ensure we have enough space reserved. If you are available to help set up, we'd love the help! We plan on beginning the block party set up Thursday & Friday. Friday 10-6pm. For those helping with Friday set-up we plan on hosting an authentic Louisiana Seafood Boil, brought to you by the Wester Family, as a way to say Thank you and share a little bit of our Southern roots. This will take place at the Marok Manor around 6pm Friday evening.
*Turn on “Goodnight” by Gloriana* “He dropped her off, a little after midnight. Sat in his car, until she turned off the porch light. He backed out of the drive, just like he wasn’t scared at all. He pulled back into the drive, turned off the car. Ran through the yard, back to her front door. She turned the lock and met him on the front porch. And he said “I told myself I wouldn’t be chicken sh*t” and kissed her goodnight.” Chris & Krystal originally crossed paths in high school as acquaintances (this is not a high school sweethearts story) before life took them on different journeys after graduation. Clearly fate had other plans, when they crossed paths again in 2012. After a quick lunch date, it was evident there was a connection. A few weeks later, when schedules aligned, they met again for dinner on the grill. It was that night, Chris said he wouldn’t be chickensh*t. Since then, their love has been a journey of dreams, adventures, and building a life together. Their shared passions include traveling, entrepreneurship, spending time with their dogs, and exploring the great outdoors while camping in their travel trailer. Chris's roots trace back to Alaska, where he grew up with his family and attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF). In contrast, Krystal's upbringing was shaped by a military family, moving frequently before settling in Alaska for high school. After high school, she ventured to Hawaii to attend Hawaii Pacific University. Their journey together has been filled with love, laughter and milestones that continue to grow their bond and strengthen their love for each other. They are looking forward to sharing this special milestone with you as part of a monumental moment in their continuous love story.
