Kristin moved back home in the spring of 2021 after spending 10 years in the Tampa Bay area. After spending a few months settling in, she figured she'd jump into the Orlando dating scene. She met Chris and was drawn-in by his blue eyes, kind smile...and also a picture he showed her of his cute dog. After spending a few weeks getting to know each other via text and phone calls, an official first date was planned. Dinner and a drink turned into walking around a lake and talking for hours. The second date followed just a few days later, and after the third (a spontaneous trip to St. Augustine), we were basically inseparable. When you know, you know. Cheesy, perhaps. But in our case, the truth.

Flash forward to June 10th 2022. It was a Friday, and we were spending the weekend at the family condo in New Smyrna Beach (after Chris told Kristin the weekend had opened-up due to a last minute cancellation on Air Bnb). It was just another normal day. Our plan was to take the girls (our dogs) to their beloved dog beach once Kristin wrapped-up her work day; so, around 4PM we packed-up and headed out. The weather was looking a bit ominous, but we pushed on. The girls ran through the tidepools and Chris setup a lovely little picnic...which included Kristin's favorite snacks (weird). And then Chris said "let's try and take a family photo." Chris setup a tripod for his phone. We both did our best to wrangle the girls into position. Chris snapped a few pics...or so Kristin thought. Next thing she knew, Chris was getting down on one knee and asking for her hand. Turns out, Chris had actually been filming the entire event (he really thought of everything). Oh, and Kristin said "YES!" (she also said "Is this for real?!?")

We love our little town of Sanford so much, we're getting married there! We feel so lucky to have found each other, and we cannot wait to celebrate with our closest family and friends. Join us at Venue 1902 on 1/22/23 to help us celebrate becoming Mr. and Mrs.!
