This unusual fountain in Waterfront Park calls back to the city's port town history when pineapple was rare and a symbol of wealth and hospitality.

Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens
This is the location that sold Krista on a Charleston wedding. The Spanish moss is a dream, however, booking a plantation tour is a necessary and eye opening historical lesson that allows you to take a step back into time and see first hand what occurred. Fun fact, parts of the Notebook were also filmed here. The exterior shots of the mansion were used to depict Allie's summer home. Another fun fact, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynold's got married here.
Bulldog Tours
We did the Ghost Tour here and had a great time. Bulldog tours also offers history and food tours if you aren't up for a spooky one. Definitely wear your walking shoes. Tickets can be purchased online.
Charleston City Market
4-block city market over 200 years old, with vendors of food, art & crafts like sweetgrass baskets.
South Carolina Aquarium
If you're up for it, go feed some sting ray's. Krista had no reservations about doing this, Chris on the other hand... took a minute to come around.
Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar
If you know us, you would know that we are foodies and would not typically go to the same restaurant twice on a vacation due to a desire to try all of the things. However, we loved this restaurant so much that we had to go back and have our last meal there for their Shrimp and Grits. We highly recommend a reservation.
By The Way
One of Charleston's newer restaurants co-owned by Southern Charms Craig Conover. Austin Kroll, and Uptown Hospitality Group. Krista in particular is dying to go here.
EVO Pizzeria
Get their famous Pistachio Pesto Pizza! You will not regret it. Unless you're allergic to pine nuts like Krista's best friend Alanna, then maybe try something else.
167 Raw Oyster Bar
Chris and Krista haven't made it here yet, but it's on their list and they're dying to try it. Nothing is heard but rave reviews.
Bourbon N' Bubbles
For upscale cocktails and/or dinner, this is another one of "Southern Charm's" bravo star Leva Bonaparte's restaurants.
MESU
A Mexican and Sushi fusion... If you're a Bravo fan (like Krista) , this is one of Leva Bonaparte's restaurants.
