Our Story

Chris and Kris met during their time studying at Penn State University through mutual friends. Fun facts- the day of their first kiss, they were at a party where Chris was actually setting Kris up with one of his friends, but his friend was unable to make it! Chris was always attracted to Kris and felt it was a sign to use this opportunity to tell her. Little did he know she had a crush on him too! (After some liquid courage) the two confessed their attraction for one another leading to their first kiss! Sparks flew and before long Chris and Kris realized how much chemistry they shared. After going on their first date, and spending late-night talks under the stars, next to the Duck Pond at PSU, their relationship began to blossom. Shortly after graduating in 2018, Chris and Kris decided to take the next step and moved to Bethesda MD together where they stayed for about a year. In October of 2019, the two headed down south and now reside in Columbia SC. Chris and Kris tied the knot on April 18th, 2021 on Isle of Palms beach with their parents and siblings as witnesses. They are both so excited to be taking their vows in the church and celebrating their love with family and friends!

The Proposal

Kris and Chris in Wedded Bliss!

Now when a man shows a woman a ring you think he is proposing right? Not in our case! One night while packing some bags to go visit family, Chris was too excited and showed Kris her ring. Naturally, Kris screamed "YES", jumped up and down, and cried. Chris awkwardly explained to Kris that he is not proposing he was just so excited and couldn't wait to show her the ring.... I know right... Fast forward to the next day as they were traveling to visit family, when Chris started telling Kris all the things he loved about her. He ended with "So, would you maybe want to marry me?" and here we are today.
