We first met back in 2013 working for the same veterinary company in California. Chris had just moved to CA and this is not like a fairytale love story. We didn't instantly have this amazing connection and fall in love. We worked together for about 4 months or so before we even really had a conversation with each other. Once we did, we realized we had a lot in common and became gym buddies. That turned into a whirlwind casual dating situationship that lasted for a little while. Then in 2014, Chris ended up moving to Los Angeles, which was four hours away from the city we initially met in. At this point, we were just friends, still kind of casually dating but it was nothing serious. Life went on and we still talked occasionally. But after a while, due to the distance and the frivolousness of our situation, we lost contact with each other. I ended up moving down to the LA area in 2015 and we reconnected (since we were both still working for the same company). I was about to start a new job and was looking for a place to live and he was looking for a roommate. Given our strange dating history, we really wanted to avoid moving in with each other. But what is Simply Meant to Be will be. So we ended up moving in together AS FRIENDS/ROOMMATES. The rest is pretty much history from there. We hit it off and decided "I guess we're doing this now." Four years later, we find ourselves where neither of us ever thought we'd be. But now we couldn't imagine being here with anyone else.
