So this is love

It was a typical Friday night for Kendall, headed to the annual Maryville Fireman’s homecoming with her friends. She eventually ran into some familiar faces, who happened to be with Chris. Like the extrovert she is, Kendall introduced herself to Chris. It was truly a "right place at the right time" moment as Chris was never intending on going to the picnic, it was very much so last minute. After they got to chatting, they shared beer tickets and rode a few rides. Like the gentleman Chris is, he offered to take Kendall home. He even swooned her over with late night Taco Bell where they shared their first kiss. How romantic!

Chris coordinated a "day out" in Grafton, IL with some of Kendall's closest friends; Dakota (Maid of Honor), Ashlyn (Matron of Honor) and Sydney (Bridesmaid). She thought it was just an average day going to the loading dock and wineries. Ashlyn had suggested they go to the Grafton Vineyard, which is off the beaten path of the main street. Upon arriving, Dakota and her husband, Damian were already there. They had picked a table closest to the little pond and we began our day. Realizing they were the only ones there, they took advantage of an opportunity for a photo op by the water! It was Chris and Kendall's turn and after stalling due to nerves, he got down on one knee and the rest was history. After the main event, they headed to the loading dock where Sydney was waiting with all of their closest friends and family for a surprise engagement party! It was such a special day filled with many joyful tears and love.
