This is our favorite brewery in the city, locating in the up and coming EaDo neighborhood.

True Anomaly Brewing Company

Great zoo that is walking distance from the Zaza.

Houston Zoo

Lovely park across from the Zaza with live oak lined walkways, a Japanese garden, a rose garden, and a pond with peddle boats.

Hermann Park

Great spot for lunch or brunch--delicious food in a garden setting.

Tiny Boxwoods

One of the best taco trucks in the city! Grab tacos and eat them next door with a cold beer at West Alabama Ice House.

Tacos Tierra Caliente

Our favorite BBQ restaurant in the city--they also do breakfast tacos in the mornings!

The Pit Room

The best BBQ in Houston. A bit of a drive from the city, but definitely worth it. Order the beef rib!
