This is our favorite restaurant in Carbondale - it's TINY (like the name!) so make a reservation in advance for dinner!
Cruise by The Painted Pig for a fancy coffee and breakfast sandwich.
This is where we'll be for the welcome drinks on Friday, but if you're coming into town early, the Trout patio is an awesome place to have a relaxing lunch on a sunny day. Burgers, sandwiches, salads and more, all right by the river's edge in Old Town Basalt.
A Roaring Fork Valley staple, and the location of Kate & Chris's first date! We love the Woody Creek Tavern for lunch, a casual dinner, or even just a mid-afternoon margarita & snack. Hit the Tavern on your drive back from a hike on Snowmass, or rent a bike and ride there for lunch from Basalt or Carbondale.
If you spend the day exploring Aspen, stop by Clarks for a delicious lunch (and maybe a glass of wine or a cocktail).
If you're in Aspen, this is a classy spot for a pre-dinner drink!
If you're looking to visit Aspen, this is an incredible spot for dinner.
Tee times available online. Option to rent a cart or walk.
If you're looking for a low-key 9 holes, The Ranch at Roaring Fork is very fun! Walking only with rentable push carts - this is good for a (much) more casual outing.
Rent a bike at one of Basalt Bike & Ski's two locations (Basalt & Carbondale). Choose an e-bike, road bike, or mountain bike, and let us know if you need recommendations on where to ride. One of our favorites is taking the Rio Grande Trail down to the Woody Creek Tavern for lunch!
If you're up for a (moderately challenging) hike, check out Thomas Lakes Trail - the leaves should be incredible in mid-October!
