Circa 2009 we met on eHarmony back in the day when online dating was still slightly taboo. Chris had just moved back home from College and signed up for eHarmony's free trial weekend because he wanted to see who he would "match" with. Jill signed up after moving back home from an internship on the Puget Sound in Washington working with kids and teens at an outdoor environmental program, curious to see if this online dating thing "works". We were matched because of our similar interests and began to talk. We hit it off and decided to have our first date be at McMenamins in Vancouver. Chris apparently showed up early and found a booth on one side of the pub while Jill showed up and found a separate booth on the opposite side. 10 minutes goes by, then 15, then 20.... Come to find out we were both at the restaurant in separate booths, on different sides of the pub thinking we both stood each other up. We've been inseparable ever since. We couldn't be more opposite of each other if we tried. The peanut butter to my jelly. The salt to my pepper. The macaroni to my cheese. In the famous words of Danny Zuko and Sandy Dee "We go together like rama lama lama ka dinga da dinga dong". <3
