There will be shuttle buses from the wedding reception back to the Hotel Indigo in central Williamsburg. There will be an early shuttle (around 9:45) and a shuttle at the end of the night. We also have the option to add more trips as needed. We are not providing transportation TO the venue. We recommend taking an Uber/Lyft, or the subway - see more details below.
Your best bet for weekend transportation: 🚕 Cabs Uber and Lyft are both excellent options. This will be the easiest, most convenient way to get around! On Friday evenings the streets can get a bit trafficky. Saturday and Sunday shouldn't be bad. 🚊 The subway 99 Scott Studios is a 5-10 minute walk from the L train (gray). If you want to use the subway at all during the weekend, Google Maps gives excellent directions. It's extremely detailed and accurate. Read the directions carefully and check the signs at the stations to get on the train in the right direction. We love the subway and we love how cheap it is. But give yourself a 5-10 minute cushion when you take it. ⚠️ You don't need to buy a special pass for the subway! You can enter by tapping any contactless credit card, or a digital wallet on your phone (like Apple Pay).
If you're staying in Williamsburg, especially if you're staying at the Indigo or Penny hotels, the L train is a very convenient and cheap option to get you to our wedding venue. The Indigo is right on top of the station! Keep in mind that if you take this route, you'll have an ~8 minute walk to the venue after you exit the train. It's not a beautiful walk but it's doable! Directions: Enter the subway using the L Train entrance at the corner of Union Ave and Metropolitan Ave. - tap a contactless credit card or a digital wall wallet to enter - no metrocard needed! Follow signs for the L TRAIN (gray) toward CANARSIE-ROCKAWAY. Board the train and ride 5 stops. Exit the train at JEFFERSON STREET. When you exit the station you'll be on WYCOFF AVE. Walk NORTHWEST two blocks on Wycoff. Turn RIGHT on FLUSHING AVE. Walk about 3 blocks. Turn LEFT on SCOTT AVE. Walk about 3 blocks to the dead end. The entrance to 99 Scott Studios will be on your left. Remember that Google Maps is your friend - if you're not familiar with the area, use it to double-check your directions!
