Chez Nous
Probably our favorite restaurant in Charleston. This historical home has a daily changing menu and only a couple of tables (so reserve ahead). You feel transported back to the 1800s in every best way.
Carmella's
This is our go-to dessert shop! They have everything from gelato, dessert cocktails, tarts, and more! This is a must stop.
The Obstinate Daughter
This place has amazing seafood and a fun beach atmosphere, be sure to try their cocktails too! This place requires a reservation made well ahead of time.
Middleton Place
Plan to spend half a day here! This place is beautiful and the tours are equally informative and exciting. Make sure to eat lunch on-site at the restaurant which overlooks the gardens and water.
Charleston Outdoor Adventures
Their tours are amazing and great for everyone. We highly recommend the Morris island lighthouse tour. You will see dolphins and possibly sharks (we saw one!) as you boat over to the lighthouse that is only accessible by boat. Book your tour online in advance, they sell out fast!
Chico Feo
Best tacos in Charleston hands down! Steps from Folly Beach, this is one of our favorite spots and gives a laid back beach vibe.
Pitt Street Bridge
Looking for a walk on the water? This is one of our favorite spots to walk out and enjoy a nice sunset.
Post House
Located right down the road from Pitt Street Bridge, this boutique restaurant and hotel is perfect for anyone who wants to have an amazing meal on the first floor and check into their room on the second floor.
Sullivan's Island Beach
This is one of our favorite beaches in Charleston! Mex 1 is a great spot to stop for lunch while you're here.
Mercantile and Mash
Great breakfast or brunch in this old cigar factory turned restaurant. Good coffee, plenty of tables, free parking, and unique Charleston goods for sale, what more do you need?
Historic Charleston City Market
One of the most popular places downtown! This market, built in 1807, sells everything local and is great for some Charleston gifts.
Waterfront Park Pier
Stop by here at sunset and make sure to go to the end and watch for dolphins (if you stay long enough you will see some).
