What’s the dress code?

Our dress code will be Garden Wedding as the Wedding will be on the grounds of the Howard Steamboat Museum Estate. We invite our guests to dress comfortably, but still look sharp! The Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will be on grass, so be mindful of your footwear.

When are RSVPs due?

Please send your RSVPs back by August 30th.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Are you using a picture sharing app?

Answer

Yes we are! We would love to have any pictures and videos our guests take during our celebration! Please share your pictures instantly with us on our big day by downloading The Guest app and search for SMEDALWEDDING

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The Ceremony starts at 5:30pm. We suggest arriving between 5-5:15pm.

Where is parking available?

Answer

Parking is available at the back of the Estate, on W High Street, and along both of the side roads, Division Street and Jefferson Street.

Is there a block of hotel rooms available?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at a discounted rate for family and friends traveling in for our special celebration. You can call and make your reservations, just mention you are with the Smith/Smedal Wedding! The deadline to reserve a blocked room at the discounted rate is 5pm on September 6th, 2019.
