Our Love Story
We met on the very first day of medical school at orientation — two people from Columbus, Ohio somehow finding each other in a sea of new faces and name tags.
After one of our first exams, at a party that felt well-earned, Chris walked up to Jasmyn and asked her to be his partner for darts. She agreed. He quickly learned two things: she takes competition seriously… and she’s very good at it. They won the game.
From dart partners to study buddies, we rarely left each other’s side after that. We survived anatomy exams, long nights, and all the chaos that comes with learning how to become doctors. Somewhere between flashcards and caffeine, we built a life together.
Then came couples matching for residency — which, if you know, you know. Somehow we survived that too.
Ten years later, after medical school, residency, and the start of fellowship, Chris proposed during our first year of fellowship.
Turns out the best match we ever made wasn’t on a rank list. ❤️
