There was always something about Chris that pulled me in. Reconnecting after high school gave us the chance to embrace a new and fresh friendship that soon turned into a sweet courtship rooted in a deep love. In the beginning, I didn't really have the language for it but my heart definitely knew the feeling was real and right. It was beautifully challenging for me to embrace what God was doing as I entered a new found love for Chris. I learned more than ever in that season, how to lean in closer and trust my heavenly Father and His perfect timing. Fast forward a year to now, I stand amazed at God's goodness towards us. I look down at my ring everyday and I am reminded of His deep faithfulness that never stops chasing after me. Chris is everything I prayed and hoped for and everything God promised he'd be. I await our future as husband and wife with anticipation in my heart. I was made to do life with Chris and look into those beautiful blue eyes everyday, forever.

Holy crap right? This is nuts...amazing, but nuts. I am going to marry my best friend and you are going to be apart of it. She is incredible. You know that already, but let me remind you again. She is amazing, my one true love...and she's FIIINE. My life changed the day we reconnected and now I wonder how I ever got by without her. She is a blessing in my life, and a gift from God in the truest sense. I say gift because I don't deserve this love, but I'm never letting it go. I will spend my days in awe of who she is and what she means to me. I can't wait to grow old with her. I have to stop to save some stuff for my vows...but I will say this. Soon I will start the greatest adventure of my life, walking the plans God has for me with the person I was created to walk with...side by side.
