We're getting married!

Back in October 2024, Heather’s brother and sister-in-law, Grant and Sabrina, visited her in Colorado Springs. Afterward, they headed to Denver—where Chris also lived—to see their friends, Liam and Gabby, who have been longtime friends of Chris since childhood. Through this chain of mutual connections is where it all began. While they were in Denver, Heather started getting texts from her sister-in-law, Sabrina, asking her about her interest in a guy named Chris. Before long, the texts turned into pictures, voice memos, and detailed descriptions—ending with a message from Liam connecting Heather and Chris, giving them the address of a coffee shop where he thought they should meet. Heather and Chris took the chance, met for coffee, and the rest is history!! Since that first coffee, they’ve been living their Colorado dream together—camping, hiking, exploring the outdoors, drinking way too much coffee, traveling back and forth to Indiana, enjoying time with friends, and simply enjoying everyday life together. Though Chris lives in Denver and Heather in Colorado Springs, they’ve made the long-distance manageable. Once married, they’ll start their next adventure together living in Denver.
