Question

Will I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, you will need a valid passport to travel to Spain! Be sure to check your passport's expiration date—some countries require your passport to be valid for at least 6 months after your travel date, so renew if it’s close to expiring. Starting in 2026 (date TBA), U.S. citizens will also need to apply for an ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) before traveling to Spain and other countries. You can apply online at ETIAS.com. If you are traveling through the UK (even layovers), you will need to fill out an ETA prior to your travels.

Question

When should I book my flight to Spain?

Answer

For best pricing, it is recommended to book between 3-7 months out

Question

How do I get from the airport to my accommodation?

Answer

We recommend using the Beniconnect shuttle or private taxi to and from the airport! If you are staying in a hotel, you are able to use the shuttle. With Airbnb’s, you will need to use their private transfer (taxi) option. If you are arriving or departing at the same time as others, we would recommend sharing a private car for cheaper transportation! They have private cars available for 1-12 people. https://www.beniconnect.com/
