Getting to Bremerton

Below are three main ways to get to Bremerton from SEATAC airport: 1. Rental Car 2. Ferry 3. Shuttle Service Travel Tips: - Check Traffic Conditions: Seattle area traffic can be heavy, particularly during rush hour. - Plan for Ferry Times: If taking the ferry, plan your arrival to avoid long wait times. - Rental Cars: If renting a car, book in advance to ensure availability at SEA-TAC. We look forward to welcoming you to Bremerton for the wedding celebration! Safe travels!

Rental Car

Rental Car

SeaTac, WA 98188

Estimated Time: 1 hour 20 minutes (depending on traffic) Route: 1) Exit SEA-TAC Airport: Follow signs for Interstate 5 (I-5) South towards Tacoma. 2) Take Exit 132B: Merge onto WA-16 West towards Bremerton. 3) Continue on WA-16: Follow WA-16 for approximately 26 miles. 4) Cross the Tacoma Narrows Bridge: Continue on WA-16 West for another 20 miles. 5) Arrive in Bremerton: Follow signs to downtown Bremerton or your specific destination. Notes: There is a toll on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge (only westbound). Ensure you have a rental car or arrange a pickup from SEA-TAC. You may be as excited as we are but beware of speed enforcement after crossing the Tacoma Narrow Bridge. That stretch of road can be heavily patroled and is often used as a training ground.

Train

Link Light Rail

The Light Link Rail is a great option if you don't want to make a rental car reservation. For a few dollars, this 45-minute ride takes you from SeaTac Airport to Pioneer Square in downtown Seattle, only a few blocks away from the Seattle-Bremerton Ferry. Then, board the Seattle-Bremerton Ferry. Ferries leave from the Seattle Ferry Terminal at Pier 52. The Washington State Ferry ride is approximately 1 hour. Or, for a few extra dollars, the Kitsap County Fast Ferry arrives in about half of the time! Both options arrive at the Bremerton Dock in downtown Bremerton, with hotels a short walk away. Notes: Check the ferry schedule ahead of time - departure times vary. The Kitsap County Fast Ferry doesn't operate on Sundays. Enjoy the scenic ferry ride with views of the Puget Sound!
