A NYC Day Trip!

A NYC Day Trip!

New York, NY

If you're not on the east coast often, this is a great opportunity to check out the Big Apple! NYC is about 2 hours from Danbury by train (Metro North) or 1.5 hours by car. There are always the classic tourist spots! You can check out Central Park or a Broadway show (our friend Morgan helped produce the show Suffs)! For those looking to stay multiple nights, Chris found that hotels on the Upper West Side tend to be cheaper than downtown but offer great value (proximity to Central Park and 1/2/3 subway lines that take you most anywhere you'd want to go). Some of our favorite spots: - Magpie, a gift store on 84th and Amsterdam - Saigon Shack, we had our first lunch together there - The Met Cloisters and Fort Tryon Park if you're willing to venture far uptown - The 9/11 Museum is heavy, but certainly worth the trip If you have any questions about NYC please feel free to contact Haley or Chris for help! We'd love to help make your trip to the city as lovely as it deserves to be : )

Aquila's Nest Vineyards

56 Pole Bridge Road, Newtown, CT 06482

A wonderful winery on the Connecticut Wine Trail right in Newtown! There is a gorgeous outside seating area, so it’s a wonderful place to spend the afternoon.

For all the days along the way
