Chris Prochnow

Groom

Erin Beeson

Bride

Patrick Leue

Groomsman

Hailing from sunny Oakland, Patrick and I met our freshmen year at Pitzer College. Housed across the hall from one another, we both had the dubious privilege of being situated in over-booked rooms. In spite of the initially cramped conditions, a bond quickly grew amidst frenetic road-trips to and from the Bay Area, and camping trips that devolved into raw-oat-and-chocolate-eating in a tent collapsed by a windstorm. Patrick has been a formative corner-stone in shaping who am I today.

Julie Gipple

Bridesmaid

Julie and I first met at a mutual friend's going away party. From that day forward, I've always been impressed by how kind, open, and welcoming Julie is to everyone she meets. Over the years, we've backpacked in Yosemite, travelled to Southeast Asia, cooked many meals, and navigated life changes. Little known fact - we also ate a frog together. I am thankful to have such an adventurous and supportive friend in my life.

Patrick Mitchell

Groomsman

Patrick and I met our first year together at Pitzer. Owner of a fantastically exuberant laugh, his steady presence and warmth of character have been in ready supply throughout all manner of demented adventures. From road-trips in a french speaking Jeep to salt-baked salmon infused parties, he has been a fantastic friend and a wonderful roommate.

Michelle Mason

Bridesmaid

Michelle and I met fairly soon after moving to the Bay Area. We became close friends and have celebrated our birthdays together for many years. We're always looking for a new theme! Some highlights: Lisa Frank 30th, karaoke, and supervillians. Michelle has the most contagious laugh and knows all of the best ghost stories. She also has a gift for making everyone around her feel appreciated and heard. We've supported one another during career and life transitions. I am very lucky to have her as a friend.

Alex Page

Groomsman

This young man and I shared a suite our first year at college. Despite the crazy hours I kept, this Santa Cruz native and I have been paling around up and down the West coast and all the way to New Zealand to WWOOF all over the Islands. His Halloween costume dressed up as Burt Reynolds played by SNL Norm MacDonald is legendary. Alex has an easy smile, is always ready to pitch in, and lend a hand.

Jenny Newman

Bridesmaid

Jenny and I met while working at Reading Partners and bonded over books, whiskey, and tacos. Fun fact: We dressed up together for Halloween for five years. There were some early misses - Miss Nelson and Viola Swamp - but we quickly redeemed ourselves with objectively the best joint Halloween costume of all time, Young and Old Rust Cohle (True Detective fans????). We've been roommates, travelling partners, and support for one another during life changes. I'm fortunate to have a fun and trustworthy friend who's been by my side through adventures in the Bay Area and beyond.

Jon Prochnow

Groomsman

Jon is my younger brother. He's awesome, and I'm lucky to have him here with me. He likes chocolate milk, joggers (the pants with the elastic leg endings), and bagels with cream cheese. He lives in Point Richmond with his wife Michelle and my adorable nephew Crosby. He is currently really into gardening and DIY home projects, which is awesome since it lets me help, AKA play with power tools.

Kate Reynolds

Bridesmaid

Kate and I have been friends since elementary school. She was one of the first kids I met when we moved to Franklin. From starting our own summer camp at the ripe old age of 8 to navigating adventures in high school and college, she has been a close friend the whole time. When I think of Kate, I think of all of the joy we've shared in experiences with one another. I appreciate my almost 30 year friendship with this exceptional friend and human.

Geoffery Winder

Groomsman

A boon companion, Geoff and I took part in the longest road-trip I've undertaken. Sleeping in Geodesic cabins under star-drenched Colorado skies, to nail-biting encounters with hordes of suicidal rabbits, his presence in my life since our first year of college has gotten me out of, and occasionally into trouble. This Portland born young man now lives in Daly City.

Karly Whittler

Bridesmaid

Karly and I met when I started teaching at Aspire. She was an experienced, talented School Psychologist and I was a first year special education teacher still figuring out how to survive each day. We faced some challenging situations at work and became close friends and confidantes because of it. Karly is a friend who can instantly make me feel better with a witty comment or a sincere word of encouragement. We recently ate and drank our way through New Orleans and Nashville (so much hot chicken!). Karly is a supportive, brilliant friend and I'm thrilled she's part of our wedding party.

Kate Sherwood

Officiant

Kate is our lovely officiant and the world's most charismatic and warm person. Beyond her gift for making all people feel welcomed and appreciated, she also introduced us! Kate and I worked together at Triumph and bonded over the years. She always made me laugh on even the most trying of days. Kate and Chris went to college together and shared many fun memories at Pitzer and in the Bay. We are so thankful Kate agreed to officiate our wedding.
