Kirsten has been my best friend since meeting on the first day of high school in Spanish class, bonding over the matching “spirit shirts” we were required to wear. I literally can’t imagine my life without Kirsten’s friendship, which is more like family! We’ve gone on countless adventures throughout many phases of life, and you can rest assure you’ll always have a fun time when Kirsten is involved. We decided many years ago that she would be my Maid of Honor, in charge of planning the bachelorette party, and I will tell you, the best decision ever made! Kirsten is currently living her best life, skiing double black diamonds in Aspen, CO.

If there’s anyone in the world who loves Napa wine more than Chris, it’s Alex! Chris and Alex bonded over their passion for backfilling their cellars via wine auctions, and the rest is history. Alex lives with his family in Dallas, TX, and we are so happy to have him in the wedding party as we celebrate in Napa!

Kat was my next door neighbor at my first apartment in Houston. As fellow introverts, we needed an assist connecting (thank you Dad!!!), but have been inseparable ever since! Kat is an amazing friend and the “glue” of our friend group. She is a newlywed herself as she married her wonderful husband, Blake, last October in Puerto Vallarta. I am so grateful for her friendship and can’t wait to keep celebrating life’s milestones!
Bruce Kish

Bruce and Chris’s friendship began over a shared love of wine collecting and has evolved into a partnership in their wine club, CDV713, which they opened May of 2021 in Houston. In addition to his encyclopedic wine knowledge, Bruce is an avid golfer and globetrotter. Bruce is always the life of the party, and we are so grateful to have him standing with us on our special day.
Laci Nichols

Laci and I met in 2008 in Houston right after graduating from college. We were fast friends, bonding over a shared love of having a good time, travel, trying as many restaurants as we could in our new city, and workout classes. Laci is a rockstar with a successful career in finance, an amazing husband, Morris, and a very handsome little boy, Easton. Laci has been a true friend for many years, and I'm so grateful to have her by my side on this big day!
Eric Waetjen

Eric is my younger (but much taller!) brother. He is one of the most compassionate people you’ll meet, currently finishing his surgical residency in Tulsa, OK. He’s also Freya’s dad, and when he’s not playing with her or in the hospital, he pursues his hobbies which include the San Antonio Spurs, brewing his own beer, and paleontology!
Reese Roberson

Reese is Chris's daughter. She is finishing her Junior year at Lamar High School. Reese is an impressive young lady who loves video games, Pokemon and art.

Reid is Chris’s son. He will be graduating from middle school the week after the wedding, and will be attending St. Thomas High School next year! Reid is a fun-loving young man who loves football, cars and animals.
Freya Jane Waetjen

Freya is my niece and Jim & Linda's first granddaughter. Her fan club (the Freya Fan Club) grows every day, because you can't help but love this sweet girl! She’s passionate about bubbles, reading, finger painting and dogs.
