We will be proving bus transportation from Hotel Roanoke on both Friday and Saturday. For guests staying in other hotels in downtown Roanoke, using the skywalk from the parking deck in Market Square is the easiest way to get to Hotel Roanoke. For Friday's Welcome Oyster Roast, Smith Mountain Lake is 45 minutes away from downtown Roanoke. Bus schedule below: 3:00pm - Buses will depart Hotel Roanoke (Wells Avenue entrance) 8:00pm - Buses will depart SML to return to Roanoke For the wedding on Saturday, our venue is 20 minutes away from downtown Roanoke. Bus schedule below: 3:45pm - Buses will depart Hotel Roanoke (Wells Avenue entrance) 8:30pm - Early bus will depart the wedding to return to Hotel Roanoke 10:00pm - Buses will depart the wedding to return to both Hotel Roanoke and Martin's Downtown Guests are welcome to drive to either event, but parking will be limited. If driving to Smith Mountain Lake on Friday, please park along the road on Lakewood Forest Road. Addresses can be found on the Schedule page. For those who need it, golf cart transportation will be available from parking to the events on both Friday and Saturday.
There is no dress code for Friday's Welcome Oyster Roast. Come as you are! The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. We are planning for the ceremony and cocktail hour to be in the lawn, so please consider footwear accordingly!

Please book hotel accommodations as soon as possible! There are limited hotel options in downtown Roanoke, VA and Virginia Tech has announced a home football game on our wedding weekend. This will make rooms harder to come by as the date gets closer. All of our transportation will depart from downtown Roanoke.
