They will take place in the front and back yards of Ellen's childhood home where her parents currently live. Since Chris and Ellen both grew up in Ridgewood, they are very excited to be married in this special place.
All chairs for the ceremony will be spaced out 6 feet apart by family group. Tables for reception will also be spaced out and limited to family group. We are asking guests to follow New Jersey's guidelines by wearing a mask when you cannot maintain 6 feet from people outside your family group. For the health of our loved ones, we are requiring all guests to wear a mask when getting food. Guests will approach the food line at a social distance. There will be signs designating the one way traffic route. Food will be served by our catering staff rather than self-served. Bathrooms are located inside the house. Please wear a mask when inside at all times.
Absolutely! Show off your unique style. Be comfortable. We will have extras if needed.
The celebration will go on! There will be a large tent in the front yard and another in the back yard. Neither tent will have side walls.
Casual attire so anything goes including sundresses, maxi dresses, short sleeved button downs, khaki shorts, jeans, and tees. We recommend that you wear comfortable flat footwear as the ceremony and reception will be held on grass.
We will not be providing alcohol. If you choose to bring your own, we suggest you pack a cooler. We are proud of Chris' sobriety and ask that you enjoy responsibly and respectfully.
Parking is only available on the streets. Be sure to read parking signs and use designated sides. We suggest North Walnut Street (N of Robinson and on the W side of street) or the Ridgewood Public Library lot. There is 2 hour parking on Oak Street and North Walnut Street (S of Robinson). Please do not park on Robinson Lane between Maple Ave and Cottage Place so that vendors and guests with disabilities have access. You may certainly drop off members of your party at the driveway before parking.
