Dear friends and family, We are delighted that you are coming to celebrate with us on June 14th. We look forward to catching up with you, enjoying some delicious food (barbecue, anyone?), and dancing the night away. In case you don't read until the end, we are changing the start time to 5pm. Here are a few details to help you prepare: The wedding and party are outside, at a house we rented. The weather has been unseasonably cold but we're told it will warm up in the next 10 days. We will be staying there a few days before and after, and there is a lake for water activities like kayaking, and if you're staying in the area, you are welcome to come by Sunday to extend the celebration. The dress code is "wear what makes you happy.” We will serve wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks like seltzer, juice, and perhaps a mocktail. In addition to ribs and chicken, we'll have yummy sides and a vegetarian option. And of course cake! We truly do not expect gifts other than your presence and well wishes. If that seems too weird for you, you can make a donation to help offset the costs of the party, or to a charity of your choice. Did I mention we're excited? Gathering our friends and family from so many walks of life is truly special and we are very grateful you can make it out to rural Vermont to celebrate with us. And yes, we are starting at 5pm.
