Where is the wedding?

Our wedding venue is Lacuna Lofts which is situated in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago. 2150 S. Canalport Chicago, IL 60608

Transportation/Parking?

Answer

There will be a shuttle from the hotel downtown to and from the wedding venue in Pilsen. If you choose to drive/carpool, there will be discounted parking for $9 for the duration of the event. Shuttle from Hyatt leaving at 445pm, please be there by 435pm. Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk leaving for Lacuna Loft at 455pm. Please be ready by 445pm at the hotel entrance (should be signs or ask front desk). Shuttles from Lacuna Lofts back to hotels will begin at 10pm and continue hourly until midnight.

Is this an adults-only celebration?

Yes, while we wish we could accommodate all friends’ and family’s little ones, we have decided to only include select children of the immediate family.

What is the expected attire?

Answer

Cocktail Attire/"Summer Formal" For men, a well-fitted tuxedo is never a wrong choice, but generally a lightweight suit with or without necktie or bowtie would be more than appropriate. Consider linen, a thin worsted wool ("tropical"), or a basket weave wool (eg hopsack). Festive summer colors: off-white to beige, some greens and blues, “earthy-tones.” Supplement with a pocket square or tie with floral print. For women, you are more than welcome to wear a floor-length dress, however anything such as a dressy midi, maxi, or knee-length cocktail dress, LBD, dressy jumpsuit, and dark or dressy pantsuits are all fitting. Seasonal colors or floral patterns are very welcome.
