A true Kansas City gem! It's across the street from the WWI Museum and a great place to grab a coffee. It's one of the first stops on the street car line that takes you to rest of the city.
This is the United States National World War I Museum. It's DC quality and worth the visit. Also, the best view of the city is at the monument... you can't miss it!
Power & Light is the entertainment district... It's a popular spot to watch sports, concerts and celebrate Super Bowl wins! Chris loves Johnny's Tavern. Chris and Donnie worked a block away from here when they first met and would grab lunch here all the time.
This is where Chris asked Donnie to be his girlfriend! Just south of the Missouri River is the historic River Market. You'll find an abundance of coffee, drinks, and local and international cuisine. We encourage you to visit the region’s largest farmers market, found at The City Market on Saturday and Sunday.
After moving to Kansas City, Chris managed to find the one and only hockey bar located in the River Market. He still tries to go every time he makes it back into town!
Near Kansas City, an 1800's steamboat was found preserved in mud. Visit this museum if you want to see all the items they uncovered.
Modeled after Spanish architecture, The Country Club Plaza is Seville, Spain's sister city. A good spot to go shopping and grab a cocktail.
Many Kansas City natives claim Joe's KC is the best BBQ in town. It's in a gas station and be prepared to wait in a line... but it's totally worth it.
