Hartwick Pines Chapel from Visitors Center

*** The Chapel is about a 1/2 mile walk from the visitors center, on paved trail *** - Exit the back of the Visitor's Center and head down the stairs or ramp. - Follow the trail to your left through the woods. It's windy. - You will hit a dead end and a sign for the "Old Forest" - Make a left. - You will see a giant red wheel and the log barracks. There will be a hill to your right. Go up that path. - You will go up that hill, down one, and then up another before you reach the chapel. *** Dress Comfortable, and Wear Good Shoes ***
