Maid of Honor
Sister of the Bride. Despite being born into the same family, Courtney and Regan did not become best friends until Regan's senior year of high school while working at the Marriott in Mason. Since then, the two have been inseparable and are both sisters and soulmates, there for each other through the good times and the bad. The sisters can often be found in deep, heart to heart conversations over a beer and/or shot of fireball that quickly transitions into shutting down the bar while schooling fellow classmates in darts or pool (she carries the team of course, let's be honest). In her spare time, Regan enjoys butterfly whispering and saving lives in the ED at Children's.
Best Man
Groom’s Cousin. Chris has technically known Justin since he was born, but the two became more than just cousins in college. For years you could find them all over Cincinnati, making memories, having a good time, and participating in the occasional dance party. Whether it was dealing with a tough time in life or taking weekend road trips, there has been more than just years put into this brotherhood. In his spare time Justin enjoys Disney Movies and Whiskey straight.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the Bride. Leiann and Courtney went to school together at the University of Cincinnati and both were in the Hospitality Management degree program there. Fast forward a handful of years and they found themselves working together at the Kingsgate Marriott where they quickly became good friends. Both love to explore Cincinnati and enjoy the Queen City's abundant arts and entertainment and can be found brunching many a Sunday afternoon. In her free time Leiann enjoys spoiling her fur baby, Toby, and establishing herself as a connoisseur of fine wines.
Groomsman
Groom’s Cousin. Chris may have never had a little brother by blood, but Jensen is definitely the little brother God had in mind. From living together in Chicago, to Chris tying Jensen’s bow ties for high school dances, they have shared many memories. Since Jensen now plays college football, he makes Chris wear baggy clothes in all of their pictures together so that he can feel good about himself.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the Bride. Courtney and Michaela met while working at the Marriott Northeast and since then have consistently grown together and helped build into each other through high times and low. Through frolicking in Clifton to roommates in Hyde Park, new jobs, new zip codes, and new phases of life, Courtney and Michaela count on each other for toughing it out and leaning on the other and celebrating another day with a shot of fireball and a smile. In her spare time Michaela likes to craft and make all things beautiful while holding the record for the most Bud Light consumed in a short period of time.
Groomsman
Groom’s Uncle. Since Howard joined the family, he and Chris have always found it easy to relate to each other, whether that was over life, football, or the numerous times that Chris beat Howard in basketball. The life lessons and the help they give each other in this relationship are a two way street that neither have to hesitate to go down. Howard hopes to one day be able to dance and shoot jump-shots on Chris’ level.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the Bride. Flashback to first grade at Louisa Wright Elementary in small town Lebanon and you will find two first grade girls (plus three other little girls affectionately dubbed the 'PAL' Gals) who spent recesses together saving worms and making new alien friends named Fudgie, chasing crushes around the playground and entertaining themselves with games of good versus evil. Fast forward through years of friendship; hours spent talking through sorrows and triumphs, long winded phone calls across long distances, and late nights spent out dancing at clubs and bars and you have 20+ years of friendship with a matching tattoo to boot. Courtney and Erica have been through it all together. Erica spends her time teaching kids to love math and being mistaken for Courtney's twin sister.
Groomsman
Groom’s Brother. Though Scott is the only one on this list that has known Chris since he was born, Chris and Scott share more than DNA, they also share quite the collection of Magic Johnson basketball cards. While Chris was growing up Scott attempted to share his passion for fishing with Chris, as he would take Chris out and try to teach him how to be quiet long enough to catch a fish. His attempts (at the quietness and the fishing) were not successful.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the Bride. Courtney and Esther met through a small group for Undivided at Crossroads and knew at that time there was going to be something special about their friendship. Not long after, Esther formed a small group based around Millennial Women for Diversity and when Courtney heard about this she was immediately on board and the rest is history. Esther has been friend and mentor to Courtney for awhile now and the two have been known to participate in protest marches in DC along with open conversations around race and relationships. In her spare time, Esther loves on her adorable pooch, Mandoo, and sharpens her gardening skills.
Groomsman
Groom's Friend/Fraternity Brother. After meeting at a Greek event in 2001 Alex and Chris clicked pretty quickly and the rest (fraternity parties, DJing events, and road trips) is history. It’s usually pretty easy for them to play good cop (Chris)/bad cop (Alex), because that’s their natural attitudes. When Alex isn’t busy yelling at the neighborhood kids to get off of his new lawn, you can find him teaching his own children origami.
