There are 19 cabins on-site which are a part of the reservation fee (no cost to you). These cabins are bare bones with 8 bunks and mattresses, but they do have electricity. You'll need a sleeping bag or linens and a pillow to sleep comfortably. We will be pooling our resources to get those things for people traveling from out-of-state, so this is a great option for families or friend-groups that want to stay on-site.
The rangers are letting us set up tents on-site so you do not need to reserve sites at the State Park. There are also 3 RV spots up for grabs.
If you have questions about Air BnBs, Vacasas, or other hotels in the vicinity, email us if you'd like suggestions. The Millersylvania Retreat Center is close to Olympia, WA and Tumwater, WA.
Millersylvania is a great park for camping in an old-growth forest, going for a hike, or playing in the water. The lakefront has two swimming areas and a hand-carry only boat launch. You can rent a kayak, SUP, or paddle boat at Lakefront Boats and Bites, or you can stop by the Lakeside Tap Room, a small cabin in the woods with plenty of outdoor seating (at beach near Kitchen Shelter #2 on the shores of Deep Lake).
