Tofino is a small surf town tucked away on the west coast of Vancouver Island. It takes a little effort to get there, but we promise it’s worth the journey!
RECOMMENDED ROUTE:
Fly into Victoria, then enjoy a beautiful 4.5-hour drive across the island. On this route, make sure to stop at Cathedral Grove, home to massive old-growth Douglas fir trees. Another fun halfway stop is Coombs, where you’ll find the famous (and literal) Goats on the Roof Ice Cream and Country Market.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
Fly or ferry to Nanaimo, then drive about 3 hours to Tofino.
