We met when we were both working at Moe's Southwest Grille. Chris was my shift leader and it was my first job. Chris was running a catering and forgot chips so when he came back to get them he noticed me, the new girl, and said he couldn't wait to hurry back to the store to get to know me. I was very nervous about meeting all of my new co workers and when I get nervous I talk a lot. Chris however is not a huge talker but we became friends and Chris quickly opened up to me. People we worked with always sensed a connection between us. We got to know each other more and more over the years and it wasn't until one co-worker sparked a fire under Chris to finally go for it and on January 27th 2016 Chris sat me down in a Moe's booth and asked me out. The rest is history!

Chris told me that he was going to take me on a date since we hadn't seen a lot of each other recently with my new promotion at work. I didn't think much of it because we love to go out and get a nice dinner together. On May 26th 2018 I got all ready for our date and I told Chris I was on my way. When he told me that he was running late because he was playing disc golf at Crocket I didn't think anything of it because well he is always late and always playing disc golf. He told me to just meet him at Crocket because he had his change of clothes and we could go from there. When I pulled into Crocket park I drove straight to the disc golf course apparently driving by Chris all dressed up waiting for me in front of the historic log house. I called him to let him know I was there and he told me to turn around and come the other way and that I had missed him I was very confused at first and then sort of had a gut feeling about what was about to happen. Chris proposed to me and neither of us can remember exactly what he said but it was with the most beautiful and meaningful ring as it was my late grandmothers that Chris redesigned. I was so happy and in shock about what had just happened. Then I saw my sister, my brother in law, and Chris's sister there taking pictures of us which I am so grateful to have such an amazing memory captured with pictures. Afterwards we went to his sisters Charli's house for a surprise engagement party where all of our family and friends were there waiting for us. Charli did an amazing job reaching out to everyone involved and keeping everything a secret. Later that night after the party Chris surprised me with a staycation night at the Omni and celebrated by going to Kayne Prime the next night. We are so grateful for all of our family and friends that made our proposal so special.
