Maid of Honor
Michelle was my college roommate before she moved to Chicago post-grad. I miss her SO much, but she's always there for chatting or venting over the phone. She is spunky, goofy, kind and honest. Our friendship, near and far, means the world to me, and I trust her more than anyone to be my right hand through the wedding.
Best Man
Austin and I met on the benches of the Holy Innocents football team in 8th grade, 13 years ago. We bonded over our mutual lack of football skill and our interest in fitness, extreme sports, and the outdoors. From goofing around in high school, to many visits in college, to getting some awesome years in Atlanta post-college, we've had an incredible time growing up and doing life together.
Bridesmaid
Liz is married to Chris' best friend and best man, Devin. When she and Devin started dating, I could not have been more excited because I instantly knew that I'd gained a friend! I am so lucky that Chris' friendship brought such an awesome, down to earth girl in to my life. Liz is so kind and funny, and she keeps me sane when all the guys are hanging out.
Best Man
Devin was the best college roommate I could ask for. Through our five years at GT, we formed a friendship based on working hard, growing in faith, and and enjoying nature, music, and good conversation. We've tracked together through so many pivotal parts of becoming adults, and our friendship has been a rock to come back to again and again for support.
Bridesmaid
Sarah was a friend of a friend that I got set up to live with for the beginning of medical school... I got so lucky. We were fast friends and are very much alike. She gets credit for much of my success in this first year of medical school. She has kept me sane, kept me laughing and helped me to cool down a little when things get stressful. We are pictured here at our white coat ceremony.
Groomsman
Obi is one of my closest friends from college and a main reason I was able to stay sane through engineering school. He put up with me (and Devin) through tough semesters and time off. His hard work in school and his professional career has always and continues to be inspiring.
Bridesmaid
I met Emma at church when we were just a few years old. We used to play in the church together every Wednesday night while our parents were in choir rehearsal, and we have remained friends ever since. She is the definition of spunky, always keeps me laughing, and has been a wonderful friend for so long. I could not imagine this day without her.
Groomsman
Andrew and I have been friends for almost 15 years - we met in 7th grade and quickly became close friends. We've stayed close through college and adulthood, and I've gotten chances to visit Andrew in Boulder, CO and San Jose, CA. We still catch up on a weekly basis and keep up on our ever-changing lives.
Bridesmaid
Camille and I have been friends since we were three years old. We met in preschool and attended middle and high school together. We also spent many years swimming together. Pictured here is us in our high school uniforms. I feel so lucky to have such a long time friend by my side! Looks like I am breaking our pre-school pact to marry the twins in our class...
Groomsman
Zach and I started our friendship amidst high school shenanigans, and I quickly grew to love just heading over to his house after school to hang out on a daily basis. He's another friend with a humble beginning and a drive that has brought him immense professional growth and success. If I had a business, I'd have him as "acting CFO" any day. Zach is currently living with Poon out in LA and working at a private equity firm.
Bridesmaid
Natalie was one of my best high school friends. For a few summers, we went on each other's family beach vacations where we would take long walks and talk about life. I have loved having her as my friend for so many years and can't wait for many more.
Groomsman
Geoff and I bonded for the first time on a weekend trip to Chicago while in school, renting bikes to explore the city and see the sights. We went through the grueling interviews to get into consulting together and rounded out our college career with a trip up to Vancouver. Geoff currently spends his time fishing in Boulder, CO and traveling for work.
Bridesmaid
Emmy is one of my great friends from college. We met early on and hit it off right away. Emmy and I have so much in common, so we always have so much to relate on. She is genuine, honest and she cracks me up. I am so lucky to have a friend who thinks so similarly to me. Pictured here is one of our many shared birthday celebrations in college.
Groomsman
Alek is Austin's brother, and we definitely didn't hit it off at first. But somewhere in high school we realized our similar interests. Our friendship was formed conversing about life and our mutual love of fitness. We've had a number of great adventures over the years including amazing concerts to trips together.
Bridesmaid
I met Mallory at Emory's Christian ministry in our first year of college, and we were fast friends. Every year, we ran/walked the 5k on campus together (emphasis on walking). Mallory is thoughtful and honest while also being loads of fun. I am hoping that some clinical rotation or something down the line will put us back in the same city for a while.
Groomsman
Phuong (Poon) is the perfect balance of hilarious and iron-grit hard working, and he's been an incredible friend since college. He'll tell me about a massive deal that he completed with his company one minute and then make me laugh with a joke about himself the next. Tracking with him in career goals helped me get through many internship interviews in college, and hearing of his exceptional success after college has always inspired me.
